Coastal Adventure Itinerary

Day 1 :
Day 1

Your coastal adventure begins in Adelaide, where your guide will greet you before setting off toward the Yorke Peninsula. After a stop in the historic town of Port Wakefield to stretch your legs and grab a coffee, we'll continue to Ardrossan Lookout to take in breathtaking coastal views. Continuing on, we'll arrive in the seaside town of Edithburgh, where you’ll settle in at the caravan park before having lunch.

The afternoon is yours to explore Edithburgh at your own pace. Take a refreshing dip in the tidal pool, enjoy a stroll along the jetty, or wander along the scenic Mosaic Trail. As evening approaches, return to camp to unwind before enjoying a delicious dinner prepared at the campsite. After a full day of adventure, roll out your swag for your first night camping under the stars, settling in for a peaceful night by the coast.

Lunch and Dinner Included

Day 2 :
Day 2

Start your day with breakfast before departing from Edithburgh. The first stop will be the Pink Lake Viewing Area, where you'll enjoy the unique pink hues of the lake. From there, continue on to Port Moorowie to see the Water Tank Art. Afterward, head to the Kangaroo Island Lookout for stunning views of the north coast of Kangaroo Island.

Next, we'll enter Innes National Park, where you're almost guaranteed to see emus roaming freely in their natural habitat. You'll also visit the Stenhouse Bay Jetty, a great spot for photos and a peaceful break, before continuing on to the Cape Spencer Lighthouse, offering panoramic views of the rugged coastline. From there, head to the Inneston Historic Township for a glimpse into the past and its charming heritage buildings.

Your next stop will be Ethel Wreck Beach, where you can see the ruins of the shipwrecked Ethel that ran aground in 1904. It's a fascinating spot steeped in history. After exploring, head to Goblet Bay, where we'll enjoy lunch with stunning views overlooking the magnificent coastline. If the weather permits, feel free to swim and relax in this picturesque location.

After lunch, journey to the Pondalowie Surf Break for some fresh coastal air and maybe a bit of surf spotting. Then, head to Corney Point Caravan Park for the evening, where we'll enjoy a delicious dinner at the campsite under the stars.

Day 3 :
Day 3

After an early breakfast, we'll get the blood pumping with an early morning Neptune’s Sunrise Kayak Tour, an included experience in your tour package. After kayaking, we'll head north and leave the Yorke Peninsula behind as we journey toward our next camp, a working sheep station near Port Augusta. We'll stop for lunch along the way before arriving at our campsite, where you'll enjoy a hearty dinner sitting around the campfire under the stars.

Day 4 :
Day 4

After breakfast, we'll break camp and head towards Port Augusta, where we'll visit the Wadlata Outback Centre to learn about the fascinating history of the Outback. From there, we'll continue to the Whyalla Foreshore, where we'll take in stunning views from Hummock Hill Lookout. We'll have lunch on the foreshore parklands, enjoying the beautiful setting.

Next, we'll travel to Tumby Bay, where we'll explore the unique Silo Art before continuing on to our coastal campsite just south of the Tumby Bay township for the evening. After dinner, fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the waves lapping the shore.

Day 5 :
Day 5

After having breakfast and packing up camp, we'll keep heading south along the east coast of the Eyre Peninsula towards Port Lincoln, the seafood capital of Australia. You'll have free time in Port Lincoln to explore, take in the sights, or relax by the water.

Next, we'll continue to Whaler’s Way Sanctuary Scenic Drive, where you'll witness dramatic cliffs and pristine white sandy beaches. From there, we’ll head to Coffin Bay, famous for its world-class Pacific oysters. You'll have time to explore Coffin Bay and stop in at one of the many eateries to try some of the local seafood.

After everyone has had their fill of oysters and seafood, we'll continue on to Camp Nyroca, where we'll settle in for the evening. After dinner at the campsite, you'll have time to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The total distance travelled for the day is approximately 200 kilometers.

Day 6 :
Day 6

Today, we'll head to Greenly Beach, where you'll have time to explore the beautiful beach and, if the tide is right, take in the sights of the crystal clear waters of the Greenly Beach Rock Pool. From there, we'll continue to Point Drummond, where we'll visit another stunning rock pool. If the weather permits, you’ll have time to swim and relax in this serene location.

Next, we'll head to Elliston, where we'll enjoy lunch on the Elliston Foreshore. Afterward, we’ll take a scenic drive along the Elliston Cliff Top Sculpture Trail, offering breathtaking views of the coastline and unique sculptures dotted along the trail.

Finally, we'll return to Camp Nyroca for our last evening together and the final night of sleeping in our swags under the stars.

Day 7 :
Day 7

We’ve got some distance to cover today, approximately 375 kilometers. We'll depart Camp Nyroca and head to the Lucky Bay Ferry Terminal. You'll have time to relax and take in the views as we make our way there.

On the ferry, you can purchase some lunch and enjoy the crossing of the Spencer Gulf to Wallaroo.

Once we arrive in Wallaroo, we'll continue on to Adelaide, where you'll be dropped off at the Franklin Street Bus Station to conclude the tour.
